What guarantees and certification will we receive?
You will receive a 5 year parts and labour guarantee on all installation work and boilers, a Benchmark certificate, a building regulation compliance certificate and a safety certificate. All our work is also covered by a 6 year insurance back warranty.
Can we get a lower rate of VAT?
We charge a lower rate of VAT on energy efficient components of your heating system.
Are you workforce competent?
Gas Water Heating Ltd are Worcester, Bosch Group Accredited Installers and the only Authorised Service Partner locally. All our staff are trained by Worcester, Bosch Group on the full range of Heating and Renewable Energy products available.
Copies of Gas Water Heating technical & trade competencies, membership of professional bodies and customer recommendations are carried by our staff and can be viewed on request.
Do you offer an after sales service?
Our after sales service ensures that in the unlikely event of a problem with your installation an engineer is on standby at all times to assist you.
How do we know our roof is okay when you have finished?
All through roof vertical flues installations and solar installation roof work are completed by a professional roofer and come with a guarantee and is included in the quotation price.
Do we need an electrician?
Any electrical work required for your installation, which requires notification, will be undertaken by a competent electrical person to meet the requirements of the Building Regulations Part P and certificate issued.
What happens to the waste?
All scrap and rubbish will be removed by a certified waste carrier for recycling. A copy of the waste transfer certificate is available on request.
Does my system need flushing?
When a new boiler is fitted to an existing system it is a requirement of the boiler manufactures warranty that flushing takes place and is recorded on the Benchmark and a certificate issued. In addition to the above flushing ensures your central system is free from debris that can cause valve failure and slow heating with Gas Water Heating Ltd a chemical and power flush is an integral part of the job and is not charged as an extra service.
What happens when you arrive and leave our job?
Hours of work are 8am to 4.30 pm. Our staff may work later or finish earlier should the job dictate it.
Dust sheets will be used where required whilst we work at your property.
Should it be necessary to lift floors and carpets over a couple of days they will be re-laid at the end of each working day and on completion will be refitted to the original condition.
Furniture will be moved as required by our staff and replaced on completion.
Should you have any delicate or valuable items we would ask you to ensure they are moved to a place away from the work area.
Any brickwork or plastering required for your installation will be completed as near to the original finish as possible. (We do not decorate, paint or tile)
During your installation the hot / cold and gas supplies will only be interrupted for the minimum amount of time and under normal circumstances you will never be left without any water or gas overnight.
Our on site staff will keep you informed of progress and will be happy answer any queries you may have during the installation period.
On completion our staff will vacuum, clean and remove all debris for waste disposal by our specialist contractor.
